Well, it has taken me a long time to finally get around to this. But have you any idea how long I had to wait until Google Translate finally got around to barking? Sheesh!
Anyway, I've noticed some changes about the place, mainly in the behaviour of those two-legged creatures that share my house. They are SO weird.
I've noticed the younger female hasn't come back from her walkies yet, and she left when I was away at my pampering weekend in the dog hotel. No idea what happened, but when I got back, no sign of her distinctive scent anywhere. The boy one, I think, is pining for her. Of course he's always grumpy in the mornings, but maybe even more so now that the other pair take it in turns to wake him. I think he found it much sweeter when the young female got the task, well judging by the way he'd have play fights with her (just like puppies).
The older female really makes a meal out of the mornings - and I don't mean breakfast! She's always going up and down the stairs, in and out of bags and coats and muttering 'Where did I put my keys/purse/money/glasses?' A whirlwind of confusion and muttering. I don't know how she gets to work every day. I hope that metal box they all climb into knows where it's going.
The older male, you know the wise one, is obviously missing the young female. His evenings seem so empty with none of those silly arguments they would get into over all those silly scribbly things she had to do for school.
And I miss her too. She used to give me nice rubs and say my name in the nicest way. She was brilliant at whistling too. I described those tunes to my fried Bob the sheepdog and he was very impressed. He said that his human just had one or two notes, but she can make lots of notes dance in the wind. I dunno how she did it, but seemed to involved breathing in through a shiny metal stick.
It's getting wet, windy and cold now. I heard the young male say 'Poor Mavis, she'll be freezing outside all day.' These humans are very silly, what does he think all this furry stuff I'm covered in does? I even try to help them keep warm by leaving piles of my fur all around the house for them to use, but they just don't seem to understand and end up just leaving it there until the older male starts ranting and drags around that big tube he connects to the wall.
Anyway, I better go now. This is just my first post and I'll be back. But I've got to head off and see if I can catch one of those really annoying birds.
